Triathlon is an endurance sport combining three different disciplines: swimming, cycling, and running. Preparing for such an event provides one of the most comprehensive and varied training regimens among endurance sports. Practicing triathlon simply never gets boring!

During this year's edition of Triathlon Sieraków, the competition will be held over three distances:

28.25 km: 475 m swimming, 22.5 km cycling, 5.275 km running

56.5 km: 950 m swimming, 45 km cycling, 10.55 km running

112.99 km: 1900 m swimming, 90 km cycling, 21.095 km running

To participate, you must have either a one-time or annual license from the Polish Triathlon Association or another national triathlon federation.

Simply fill out the registration form on the website and transfer the appropriate entry fee, and you will be added to the start list.

Please note that the date when the funds are credited to the organizer's account is what counts. Only after paying the entry fee will your name appear on the start list.

Everyone is welcome in Sieraków! We have set very accessible time limits for everyone, so you can finish the race at a comfortable pace. The majority of participants are working professionals who practice triathlon for leisure in their free time. Of course, we also welcome advanced athletes, for whom we have prepared very attractive prizes.

We absolutely do not allow this! Such behavior endangers your safety and that of other participants, as you won’t hear them during overtaking or hear instructions from referees and organizers.

During the swimming stage, men must wear swim briefs, and women must wear a swimsuit. During the cycling and running stages, men must also wear a shirt covering the torso. While we recommend wearing a one- or two-piece triathlon suit, it is not mandatory.

If the water temperature is below 15.9°C, a wetsuit is mandatory; otherwise, it is highly recommended!

A helmet is mandatory during the cycling stage! The helmet must be fastened before taking the bike off the rack after the swimming stage and removed only after returning the bike to the rack before starting the run.

Any external assistance, except cheering, is prohibited and will result in disqualification. The organizer provides drinks and nutrition at refreshment points, and handing out drinks or nutrition by external individuals is forbidden and considered external assistance.

The transition zone is where athletes leave their equipment needed for all triathlon stages: shoes, helmet, glasses, nutrition, and bike. Each athlete has their assigned bike spot and a basket to store all their items.

Your bike and belongings will be supervised, and only athletes with wristbands will have access to the transition zone. At the exit of the transition zone, the bike number will be checked to match the athlete's number.
Access to the transition zone will open after the last athlete completes the cycling stage.

Timekeeping is done electronically using a chip attached to your ankle with a neoprene strap. This allows you to see not only your final time but also the times for each triathlon stage.

In your starter pack, you will receive several numbers and stickers with specific purposes:

A large A5-sized number must be visible on your back during the cycling stage and on your front during the running stage. We recommend attaching it to an elastic band for easy rotation. This number is not required for the swimming stage!

Additionally, you’ll receive two small stickers to place on the helmet (one in the front and one on the left side) and one larger sticker to attach to the bike's seat tube so the number is visible from both sides. You’ll also get a swimming cap with your number written on it for identification in the water.

Lastly, your number will be written on your arm and calf for identification after leaving the water.

Participation in the triathlon at both distances is allowed for individuals over 18 years old who are in good health.

For logistical reasons, we have established the following time limits for completing each triathlon stage:

The established time limits are significantly extended compared to global standards, ensuring you will have enough time to calmly complete the event.

Registration for Triathlon Sieraków is already open and will remain so until April 30, 2024, at the latest. However, due to the limited maximum number of participants, we recommend registering as soon as possible. Once the participant limit for a distance is reached, registration for that distance will close.

On the cycling route for both distances, there will be 2 nutrition points (every 11 km), and on the running route, 2 points approximately every 2.7 km.
Each nutrition point will offer water, isotonic drinks, and bananas.

Absolutely! We’re preparing plenty of attractions for all spectators to ensure everyone has a great day!

The event will take place regardless of weather conditions. However, in the case of extremely unfavorable weather, the start time may be delayed, or the swimming portion may be canceled.
